The 17-Member Team for The Next Physically Disabled Champions Trophy Has Been Announced by DCCI

The Indian team for the forthcoming Physically Disabled Champions Trophy, which will take place in Sri Lanka from January 12 to 21, was revealed today by the National Selection Panel (NSP) of the Differently Abled Cricket Council of India (DCCI).

The competition is being staged for the first time since 2019, and India will play Pakistan on January 12 to kick off their campaign.

Rohit Jalani, the head coach of the physically challenged Indian cricket team, selects the players at a rigorous training camp in Jaipur. The purpose of the specifically designed camp was to give participants a chance to exhibit the selection panel their potential. The selection panel has selected a roster of 17 players for the renowned competition following careful deliberation.

“It is a very balanced Team which is equipped to take on any opponent,” Jalani stated in reference to the squad. At this event, Team India will make history, therefore now is the moment to cheer them on and show your unwavering support. Using the hashtag #dumhaiteammai, I encourage every cricket fan to support our players on social media.

DD Sports will broadcast every India match.

Considering India’s involvement “We have no doubt that India will perform exceptionally well,” stated Ravi Chauhan, General Secretary, DCCI.
