The Tesla CEO Wants To Purchase Liverpool, According to Elon Musk’s Father

In a recent interview with Times Radio, Elon Musk’s father, Errol Musk, disclosed that his millionaire son has expressed interest in acquiring Liverpool FC, the current English Premier League (EPL) favorites. Fenway Sports Group (FSG), the present owner of the six-time European Cup champions, has taken outside investment in the past but has not indicated that it wants to sell the team.

Although his son would want to own the club, Errol Musk noted that this does not imply that any agreements are being discussed. “Yeah,” he answered, “but that doesn’t mean he’s buying it.” “Yes, of course, anyone would like to, and he would like to. I would, too. “They’ll raise the price,” he continued in a joking manner.

The rumors have subsequently been refuted by FSG, which in 2023 sold a minority holding to the US investment group Dynasty Equity. “There is no truth to these rumors,” a representative for the owning group said in response.

Liverpool FC is currently at the top of the Premier League and Champions League standings. They are one game ahead of their opponents and six points ahead of second-place Arsenal.
