India’s Cricket Schedule for 2025: Key Series and ICC Top Tournaments

With important series and competitions planned all year long, the Indian men’s cricket squad is ready for an exciting and action-packed 2025. From winning the T20 World Cup to losing the Test series to Australia, 2024 has its share of highs and lows. With a busy program that promises to have spectators on the edge of their seats, India is trying to make amends.

In 2024, India’s cricket journey was characterized by conflicting feelings. The “Men in Blue” had a successful start to the season by winning the T20 World Cup in the Caribbean, but they also suffered setbacks, including losing the Test series at home to New Zealand and the ODI against Sri Lanka. It placed Pakistan in danger of missing out on the World Test Championship (WTC) final after they suffered a devastating defeat of 184 runs against Australia in the Boxing Day Test.

With the stakes high, India will begin 2025 under increasing strain. They will try to make amends in a variety of formats. Highlights on the schedule include the much anticipated Asia Cup, a fierce five-Test series against England, and the ICC Champions Trophy in Dubai.
